When we meet a client for the first time, we’re tempted to impress them straightaway. Those first few minutes are all important.
So we talk, we express how much knowledge we have and how pleased we are to meet them.
But in doing that, we forget one important thing. If we're truly to provide a great service, we must first understand more about our client. We forget to listen.
